Impact Sensor: Service and Repair

1. Disarm SRS as described under Air Bag Arming and Disarming.
2. Refer to component locations.
3. Inspect sensors and brackets for damage, dents, cracks and corrosion, then replace as necessary.
4. Inspect sensor brackets for damage and corrosion.
5. Installing sensors with arrows toward vehicle front.
6. Tighten new bolts to specifications. Do not install old bolts.
7. Arm SRS as described under "Air Bag System Disarming and Arming.
