Removal

1. Disarm SRS as described under Air Bag Arming and Disarming.
2. Remove air bag module as described under Air Bag Module Replace.
3. Place steering wheel in the straight ahead position, then disconnect horn electrical connector.
4. Remove steering wheel nut, then steering wheel with suitable puller.

CAUTION:
Do not overtighten puller bolt or tap or bump steering wheel.

5. Attach spiral cable to stopper.
6. Remove steering column cover.
7. Disconnect electrical connectors and remove attaching screws, then remove spiral cable.
