Improper TCC Operation (DTC 116)

Consult-Improper TCC Operation:

OVERALL FUNCTION CHECK
1. Start engine and warm up ATF.
2. Select "SELF-DIAG RESULTS" mode for ECM with CONSULT.
3. Start vehicle with shift lever in D and throttle opening greater than 1/8 of full throttle. Check that vehicle runs through gear shift of D1, D2, D3, D4, D4 lock-up, in accordance with shift schedule.

NOTE: This is the Diagnostic Trouble Code as "Improper Shifting to 4th Gear".
