NOTE: Adjust accelerator-drum unit whenever any of the following parts (new or old) are installed:
^ Accel-drum Unit
^ Throttle Body
^ Rod (Always replace with a new one after removal)

Accel-drum Unit Adjustment:

ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES
1. Install accelerator-drum unit and throttle body.
2. Apply grease all over inside of rod couplings.
3. Insert each one coupling to ball links of throttle chamber and accelerator-drum unit.
4. Loosen locknut and adjusting screw.
5. Manually turn accelerator-drum until throttle valve is fully open, then check that stopper lever is not touching adjusting screw.

Checking Stopper Lever:

6. If stopper lever is touching adjusting screw, loosen screw to maintain clearance between the two.

Accel-drum Adjusting Screw:

7. Turn adjusting screw until it touches stopper lever, then back off accelerator-drum.
8. Turn adjusting screw three rotations clockwise, then tighten locknut.
