Component Inspection

IACV-AAC Test:

1. Disconnect the Idle Air Control Valve - Auxiliary Air Control (IACV-AAC) valve harness connector.
2. Check resistance of IACV-AAC with an ohmmeter.
Should be approximately 10 Ohms.

IACV-AAC:

1. Remove the valve and inspect the plunger for sticking.
2. Inspect the spring for breakage.
Replace the valve if it fails the above tests.
