VSS Test:

VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR (DTC: P0500)
1) Start engine and warm it up sufficiently.
2) Perform test drive for at least 10 seconds continuously in the following recommended conditions:
Engine speed : 2,000 - 3,200 rpm
Intake manifold vacuum: -0.0 to -20.0 kPa (-11.81 to -5.91 in Hg)
Gear position : Suitable position (except "N" or "P" position)
3) Stop the vehicle, turn ignition switch "OFF", wait for at least 3 seconds and then "ON".
4) Perform "Diagnostic Test Mode II (Self-diagnostic results)" with ECCS Control Module. [1]

[1] Even though Diagnostic Trouble Code is not detected, perform the above test drive at least one more time.
