IACV-AAC Valve:

PURPOSE
Controls engine idle speed during closed loop operation.

OPERATION
It receives a pulse signal from the ECCS Control Module which opens and closes an air passage allowing a precise amount of air to flow through the valve. The longer that the ON duty is left on, larger amounts of air that will flow through the valve which increases idle speed.
