Camshaft Position Sensor:

PURPOSE
Distributes secondary spark to the correct cylinder. Houses the Camshaft Position Sensor.

OPERATION
The distributor is operated by the camshaft. Mounted to the top of the distributor shaft is the rotor. Mounted to the top of the distributor housing is the distributor cap. This distributor is equipped with an optical Camshaft Position Sensor.
