With ECM On-Board Diagnostics

ECM Display-Improper Shift Into 1st Gear:

OVERALL FUNCTION CHECK
1. Start engine and warm up ATF.
2. Start vehicle with shift lever in D and throttle opening greater than 1/8 of full throttle. Check that vehicle runs through gear shift of D1, D2, D3, D4, in accordance with shift schedule.
3. Perform self-diagnosis for ECM.
