Oil Leak Check
Neutral Pressure1. Start engine and idle for two minutes.
2. Set CONSULT to ``WORK SUPPORT'' mode and call up ``5. PRESSURE LEAK CHECK 1'' on CONSULT display.
3. Touch START to control actuator oil pressure at 668 psi. While neutral pressure leak check is being executed, both flow control and fail-safe valves are held open.
4. Ensure neutral pressure control is complete on display, lift vehicle and hold for three minutes.
5. Check that leaks are not present at pipes and connections. Lower vehicle so that wheels are 2 inches above ground.
High Pressure
1. After completing neutral pressure leak checks, touch NEXT on CONSULT display. Display will then show ``6. PRESSURE LEAK CHECK 2.''
2. Touch START on display. Actuator oil pressure is then controlled at 422 psi rather than at 668 psi. While high pressure leak check is being executed, both flow control and fail-safe valves are held open.
3. Ensure high pressure leak check is complete on display and lift vehicle for three minutes.
4. Check that leaks are not present at piping and connections. Lower vehicle so that wheels are two inches above ground.
Return Line
1. After completing high pressure leak check, touch NEXT on CONSULT display. Display will now show ``7. PRESSURE LEAK CHECK 3.''
2. Touch START to control actuator oil pressure at 668 psi rather than at 1422 psi. While return line check is being executed, both flow control and fail-safe vales are held open.
3. Ensure return line check is completed. Lift vehicle for at least three minutes.
4. Check that leaks are not present at piping and connections.
Protector Installation
1. Touch NEXT on CONSULT tool. Display will now show ``8. PROTECTOR INSTALL.''
2. Touch START to control actuator oil pressure at 0 psi and to open fail-safe valve.
3. Ensure display is set to protector installation mode, stop engine.
