SERVICE INFORMATION:

Some Infiniti J30 customers may complain of a "rattle" noise coming from underneath the front of the driver's or front passenger's seat. In some cases, if the seat is moved all the way to the rear and the seat back is in a slightly reclined position, there may be a complaint of a slight "rocking" motion in the seat.




Countermeasure seat lifter assemblies have been developed to address such incidents.

NOTE:
It is not necessary to replace both sides on incident vehicles. 1n most cases, a countermeasure driver side seat lifter assembly will suffice. If the customer complaint specifically includes passenger side rattles, then the right side lifter assembly may be applied to repair the passenger seat.
