SERVICE INFORMATION

Some customers may complain about an intermittent memory loss of the seat set position which they have programmed into the automatic drive positioner (ADP).

A possible cause may be inadvertent contact with the seat adjust or seat memory switches located on the door panel when exiting the vehicle with the ignition OFF. If the seat adjust or seat memory switch(s) are touched, the ADP will record the current position.

A new ADP control unit is available which incorporates a 0.40 second time delay before recording any inputs from the memory switches. In addition, the new control unit includes a function which will allow the steering column to be adjusted in fixed increments.
