1. Remove air cut valve from engine.
2. Immerse air cut valve in cold or hot water to level shown in Fig. 218. Do not wet gasket portion or air chamber.
3. With water temperature of 32°F, air should flow as shown in Fig. 218.
4. With water temperature of 122°F or above, almost no air should flow.
