SERVICE INFORMATION


Some 1991 G20 vehicles may experience a rattle from the timing chain for a short time after the engine is first started, usually after sitting overnight. The noise may be caused by the leakdown of oil from the chain tensioner. A countermeasure timing chain tensioner is available.

SERVICE PROCEDURE


Replace the noisy tensioner with the improved timing chain tensioner listed below.
