WARRANTY INFORMATION

Repairs of environmental contamination discovered and reported at the time of vehicle delivery to the dealership will be reimbursed through the submission of Transportation Claims, provided the damage has been properly documented. Please refer to the procedures outlined in the Transportation Claims Section of the Infiniti Warranty Policies and Procedures Manual.


If there are any questions concerning paint warrantability or other recovery, they should be directed to your Dealer Operations Consultant.


Iron Particle Repair


If iron particles are found in the test area, use the information below to select the proper repair action:

Level 1

No damage, the iron particulates have not bonded strongly and will wash off with detergent and water with gentle agitation. Release vehicle for sale.

Level 2

Minor damage, the iron particulates are bonded to, but do not penetrate the clear coat into the color coat. Use repair procedure Step A.

Level 3
Substantial damage, the iron particulates are bonded deeply, reaching the color coat. Use repair procedure Steps A and B.
