Fuel Injector: Service and Repair

Always relieve fuel system pressure prior to disconnecting fuel lines or removing any fuel system component.
1. Release fuel pressure to zero, then separate ASCD and accelerator control wire from intake manifold collector.
2. Remove intake manifold collector from engine.
3. Remove or disconnect harness connectors and hoses. Mark position for assembly.
4. Remove injector fuel tube assembly.
5. Remove any malfunctioning injector from injector fuel tube.
6. Reverse procedure to install. After properly connecting fuel hose to injector and tube assembly, check connection for leakage.
