Buffing Recommendations

Meguiar's Hi-Tech Finesse Buffing Materials:

P/N W-1000 Foam Polishing Pad (8" diameter for rotary buffer)*
P/N W-5500 Foam Polishing Pad, and adaptor (5.5" diameter for D/A sander)*

*NOTE: The foam pad is the complete buffing tool. Several pads may be necessary during the buffing process as only one pad can be used for each of the liquid products listed below. Do not use a wool pad. Use of any pads for buffing or polishing other than foam pads may result in buffer swirl marks being left in the paint.

The following liquid products (all are paintable) are listed in order of abrasiveness with the least abrasive at the top:

P/N M-0932 Swirl Remover # 9
P/N M-1132 Quick-Step # 11 (combined swirl remover/cleaner)
P/N M-0232 Cleaner # 2

Wax remover - Prepare a spray bottle of wax remover (such as Prep-Sol) to remove any filler/wax material and allow evaluation of the buffing results.

Towels - Use only 100% cotton terry cloth towels. Any polyester content

in the towel may produce scratches in the paint.
