Endgate Lower Hinge Replacement - Endgate Side

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the end gate from the vehicle. Refer to Endgate Replacement (End gate Replacement).
2. Place the end gate on a protected surface.




3. Remove the bolts retaining the hinge trunnion to the end gate.
4. Remove the hinge trunnion from the end gate.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the hinge trunnion to the end gate.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the bolts retaining the hinge to the end gate.

1. Tighten the lower forward bolt (2) to 25 Nm (19 lb ft).
2. Tighten the lower rear bolt (1) to 25 Nm (19 lb ft).




3. Install the end gate to the vehicle. Refer to Endgate Replacement (End gate Replacement).
