Hood Handle Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the hood insulator. Refer to Hood Insulator Replacement (Service and Repair).




3. Remove the fasteners (1) retaining the hood handle to the hood.
4. Remove the hood handle (2) from the hood.

Installation Procedure

1. Align the hood handle to the hood.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).




2. Install the fasteners (1) retaining the hood handle to the hood.

Tighten the fasteners to 9 Nm (80 lb in).

3. Install the hood insulator. Refer to Hood Insulator Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Close the hood.
