Rear Window Washer Pump Hose Replacement - Liftgate (Body)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (SUV) (Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (SUV)) .




2. Lower the rear edge of the headliner in order to access the washer hose to headliner hose connection. Refer to Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Replacement (Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Replacement) .
3. Disconnect the rear washer hose connection at the headliner hose.




4. Gently disconnect the electrical harness grommet (7) from the rear header.
5. Disconnect (1) the jumper harness end from (2) the main body harness electrical connector.
6. Disconnect the liftgate harness grommet (10) from the liftgate.
7. Disconnect the electrical connector (9) at the liftgate.




8. Disconnect the washer hose (12) from the liftgate retainers.
9. Disconnect the liftgate hose (12) from the washer nozzle hose at the right side of the liftgate.
10. Remove the washer hose and liftgate jumper harness from the liftgate side (10) of the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the hose end of the jumper harness (8) into the liftgate opening.
2. Secure the hose onto the liftgate to the washer nozzle hose connection (12).




3. Secure the jumper harness grommet (10) into the liftgate opening.
4. Connect the electrical connector (9).
5. Secure the washer hose to the headliner hose union.
6. Carefully secure the jumper harness grommet (7) into the rear roof header (5).
7. Ensure the grommet is fully seated into the roof header opening (4).




8. Install the rear interior garnish molding. Refer to Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Replacement (Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Replacement) .




9. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (SUV) (Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (SUV)) .
