Engine does not crank

Check for loose battery terminals or connections.

Test the 12 volt battery for a low state of charge 12 Volt Battery Test.

Check for PGM-FI DTCs Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.

Check the starter Testing and Inspection.

Check the starter cut relay Testing and Inspection.

Check the starter system circuit troubleshooting Component Tests and General Diagnostics.

Check the transmission range switch (CVT model) Testing and Inspection.

Check the clutch pedal position switch A (M/T model) Clutch Pedal Position Switch A Test.

Check the ignition switch or related circuits Ignition Switch Test.

Also check for

Poor ground at G101 (CVT model), G403 (M/T model)

Also check for

Seized engine
