Fuel Filler Hose: Service and Repair

Fuel Fill Pipe Removal/Installation

1. Relieve the fuel pressure Service and Repair.

2. Drain the fuel tank until it is less than half full Service and Repair.

3. Remove the fuel fill cap.

4. Raise the vehicle on a lift Service and Repair.

5. Remove the fuel fill pipe cover Fuel Fill Pipe Cover Replacement.

6. Disconnect the quick-connect fittings (A) Fuel Line/Quick-Connect Fitting Removal.






7. Remove the fuel fill pipe (B).

8. Disconnect the quick-connect fittings (C) Fuel Line/Quick-Connect Fitting Removal, then remove the vapor control valve tube (D).

9. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: Before connecting the fuel fill pipe and the quick-connect fitting, check for dirt, and clean it if needed, taking care not to damage the fuel fill pipe and other parts.
