Door Lock Actuator Test




Door Lock Actuator Test

Driver's Door

1. Remove the driver's door panel Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the 10P connector (A) from the door latch (B).






3. Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table. To prevent damage to the actuator, apply battery voltage only momentarily.





4. If the actuator does not operate as specified, replace the driver's door latch assembly Service and Repair.

Front Passenger's Door

1. Remove the front passenger's door panel Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the 10P connector (A) from the door latch (B).






3. Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table. To prevent damage to the actuator, apply battery voltage only momentarily.





4. If the actuator does not operate as specified, replace the front passenger's door latch assembly Service and Repair.

Left Rear Door

1. Remove the left rear door panel Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the 10P connector (A) from the door latch (B).






3. Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table. To prevent damage to the actuator, apply battery voltage only momentarily.





4. If the actuator does not operate as specified, replace the left rear door latch assembly Service and Repair.

Right Rear Door

1. Remove the right rear door panel Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the 10P connector (A) from the door latch (B).






3. Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table. To prevent damage to the actuator, apply battery voltage only momentarily.





4. If the actuator does not operate as specified, replace the right rear door latch assembly Service and Repair.
