Advanced Diagnostics - DTC P0AC8 (52): Battery Module Temperature Sensor 2 Circuit High VoltageGeneral Description
If the battery condition monitor (BCM) module control input voltage from battery module temperature sensor 2 is above the upper limit of a set range, or if there is an open in the signal wire or in the voltage converter module ground, a malfunction in the BCM module input circuit is detected and a DTC is stored.

The battery module temperature sensor 2 output voltage is 4.95 V or more for at least 2 seconds.
Diagnosis Details
Conditions for setting the DTC
When a malfunction is detected, the MIL comes on and a Pending DTC, a Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data are stored in the PCM and the BCM module memory.
Conditions for clearing the DTC
The MIL is cleared if the malfunction does not return in three consecutive trips in which the diagnostic runs. The MIL, the Pending DTC, the Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data can be cleared with the scan tool Clear command or by disconnecting the battery.
