Advanced Hydraulic Booster DTC Troubleshooting: 81, 82

DTC 81:

Control Unit Internal Main Circuit Malfunction

DTC 82:

Control Unit Internal Subcircuit Malfunction

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), then turn it to ON (II) again.

4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC 81 or 82 indicated?

YES -

Replace the servo unit Service and Repair.�

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose terminals at the servo unit25P connector. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.�
