Advanced Hydraulic Booster DTC Troubleshooting: 66

DTC 66:

Control Unit Circuit Stuck OFF

NOTE: If the battery terminal is disconnected and connected repeatedly, five times or more, while the ignition switch is ON (II), DTC 66 may be indicated.

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

3. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) and to LOCK (0) at least three times.

4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC 66 indicated?

YES -

Replace the servo unit Service and Repair.�

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose terminals at the servo unit25P connector. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.�
