DTC Troubleshooting: P16C6

DTC P16C6:

Engine Mount Actuator High Voltage During Function Test

NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshots, and review the general troubleshooting information Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

2. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

3. Start the engine, and let it idle 20 seconds.

4. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

Are any Pending or Confirmed DTCs indicated?

YES -

Go to the indicated DTCs troubleshooting.�

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the engine mount control unit, the engine mount actuator, and body ground (G302).�
