Shift lever cannot be moved from P while pressing on the brake pedal

Diagnostic Procedure:

1. Shift lock solenoid defective

2. Shift lock solenoid control circuit

3. Shift lock mechanism defective

4. Brake switch circuit

5. Brake switch defective

6. Accelerator pedal position sensor circuit

7. Accelerator pedal position sensor defective

8. Throttle body defective

9. Transmission range switch ATPP switch stuck OFF

10. Transmission range switch ATPP switch line opened

Also check for:

- Inspect the APP sensor signal. Testing and Inspection
