Diagnostic Procedure:

1. Check for loose battery terminals or connections.

2. Test the 12 V battery for a low state of charge. Testing and Inspection

3. Check the starter for binding. Component Tests and General Diagnostics

4. Check for excessive drag in the engine.

5. Check for excessive drag in the transmission.
