Engagement of 1st Gear Is Delayed After Shifting Through N to D

REVISION SUMMARY
* Under WARRANTY CLAIM INFORMATION, the flat rate time was changed because the MVCI updates control modules more efficiently.*
SYMPTOM
The engagement of 1st gear is delayed slightly after shifting through N to D.
PROBABLE CAUSE
The PCM shift logic makes the engagement time of 1st gear longer than necessary.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Update the PCM software with the HDS.
SOFTWARE INFORMATION
HDS Software Version: 2.015.006 (July 2008) or later
Control Module (CM) Update:
Application Version V6.13.04 or later
Database Update 10-JUL-2008 or later
NOTE:
If you use the incorrect HDS software version, the HDS may indicate that the vehicle does not need an update.
The updated PCM software program ID and PN are shown below, If this, or a later program ID, is the Current Program ID displayed during the update, the software for this service bulletin is already installed.
