Water Pump Replacement

1. Remove the drive belt.
2. Drain the engine coolant.
3. Remove the tensioner pulley.
4. Remove the water pump pulley (A).





5. Remove the six bolts securing the water pump, then remove the water pump (B).
6. Inspect and clean the O-ring groove and the mating surface of the water passage.
7. Install the water pump with a new O-ring (C) and the water pump pulley in the reverse order of removal.
8. Clean up any spilled engine coolant.
9. Install the tensioner pulley.
10. Refill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed air from the cooling system with the heater valve open.
