Special Tools Required
^ Adjustable bearing puller, 25-40 mm 07736-A01000B or 07736-A01000A
^ Attachment, 62 x 68 mm 07746-0010500
^ Driver 07749-0010000
1. Remove the final drive shaft bearing (A) with the special tool and a commercially available 3/8"-16 UNF slide hammer (B).
2. Install the new bearing into the flywheel housing with the special tools.
Input Shaft Oil Seal Replacement
Special Tools Required
^ Attachment, 37 x 42 mm 07746-0010200
^ Driver 07749-0010000
1. Remove the input shaft oil seal from the flywheel housing.
2. Install the new oil seal flush with 3 ± 0.5 mm (0.12 ± 0.02 in.) (A) below flywheel housing level.
