Air Cleaner Element Inspection/Replacement




1. Disconnect the MAF sensor/IAT sensor 1 connector (A).
2. Open the air cleaner housing cover (6) with air cleaner element (C).
3. Remove the air cleaner element from the air cleaner housing cover.
4. Remove any dirt or debris from inside the air cleaner housing.
5. Check the air cleaner element for damage or clogging. If there is damage or clogging, replace the air cleaner element.

NOTE: Do not use compressed air to clean the air cleaner element.

6. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
