Thermostat: Service and Repair
Thermostat Replacement1. Remove the air cleaner housing assembly.
2. Drain the engine coolant.
3. Remove the ground cable and thermostat cover, then remove the thermostat.
4. Install the thermostat with a new rubber seal.
5. Refill the radiator with engine coolant, then bleed the air from the cooling system.
6. Clean up any spilled engine coolant.
