DTC 1: Power Relay Stuck ON

DTC 2: Fail-safe Relay Stuck ON
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
3. Start the engine.
4. Wait at least 10 seconds.
5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 1 or DTC 2 indicated?
YES - Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the EPS control unit. If necessary, substitute a known-good EPS control unit and recheck.
NO - The system is OK at this time.
