Fuel Pressure Regulator P2 Replacement

WARNING: Compressed natural gas is flammable and highly explosive. You could be killed or seriously injured if leaking natural gas is ignited.

Stop the engine, and keep heat, sparks and flames away.


1. Relieve fuel pressure between the engine and the manual shut-off valve.




2. Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor 3P connector (D).
3. Disconnect the vacuum hose (C), fuel feed pipe B, and fuel feed pipe A.
4. Remove the bolts and the fuel pressure regulator P2.
5. Apply silicone oil or polyaklyleneglycol (PAG) oil to a new O-ring (E) and the fuel pressure regulator P2.
6. Install the fuel pressure regulator P2 in the reverse order of removal. Be careful not to deform any of the lines.
7. Do the leak inspection procedure.
