Fuel Delivery Valve Assembly: Service and Repair

Fuel Joint Block Replacement

WARNING: Compressed natural gas is flammable and highly explosive. You could be killed or seriously injured if leaking natural gas is ignited.

Stop the engine, and keep heat, sparks, and flames away.


1. Remove the fuel tank.




2. Remove the fuel joint duct (A), fuel pipes (B), fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor (C), fuel tank temperature (FTT) sensor (D), bolts (E) and connectors (F).
3. Apply silicone oil or polyaklyleneglycol (PAG) oil to the new O-rings (G), and carefully install them into their proper positions.
4. Install parts in reverse order of removal.
5. Tighten the fuel stem assembly (H).

NOTE: Do not loosen the fuel stem assembly after it is tightened. Replace the fuel stem assembly if you loosen it.

6. Do the leak inspection procedure.
