Water Pump: Service and Repair

Replacement
1. Remove the timing belt.





2. Remove the water pump (A) by removing four bolts.
3. Inspect and clean the O-ring groove and mating surface with the cylinder block.
4. Install the water pump with a new O-ring (B) in the reverse order of removal.
5. Clean up any spilled engine coolant.
