Shift Lever Removal
1. Shift the transmission into the N position.
2. Remove the center console panel and center console.





3. Remove the nut securing the shift cable end (A), then separate the cable end from the shift lever assembly.





4. Rotate the socket holder (A) on the shift cable (B) a quarter turn; the tab (C) on the socket holder will be in the opening of the shift lever bracket base (D). Then slide the holder to remove the shift cable from the shift cable bracket base. Do not remove the shift cable by twisting the shift cable guide (E).





5. Disconnect the shift lock solenoid connector (2P) (A) and park pin switch connector (4P) (B).
6. Remove the four bolts, then remove the shift lever assembly.
