Radiator: Service and Repair
Radiator and Fans Replacement1. Drain the engine coolant.
2. Remove the engine cover, then remove the resonator.
3. Remove the air cleaner housing.
4. Remove the harness clamps (A), then disconnect the fan motor connectors (B) and radiator fan switch connector (C).
5. Remove the bulkhead cover (A) and bulkhead (B).
6. Remove the upper radiator hose (A) from the thermostat housing, and remove the lower radiator hose (B) from the lower radiator hose joint pipe.
7. Remove the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) cooler hoses, then plug the ATF cooler hoses and lines (CVT).
8. Remove the radiator.
9. Remove the fan shroud assemblies and other parts from the radiator.
10. Install the radiator in the reverse order of removal. Make sure the upper and lower cushions are set securely.
11. Install the bulkhead in the reverse order of removal. Apply body paint to the bulkhead mounting bolts.
12. Fill the radiator with engine coolant and bleed the air.
