Fuel Tank Inspection




1. Inspect the fuel tank every 36 months for:
- abrasions
- cuts
- dents
- expansion or transformation
- heating
- gap between the fuel tank (B) and the fuel tank bands (C) (are the marks (A) still aligned?)
- fuel tank band spring length (62.8 mm (2 15/32 in.) with no pressure inside tank).
- torque of the fuel tank frame bolts, fuel tank band bolts, and nuts.
