Fuel Pressure Regulator P1 Replacement

Fuel Pressure Regulator P1 Replacement

WARNING: Compressed natural gas is flammable and highly explosive. You could be killed or seriously injured if leaking natural gas is ignited.
Stop the engine, and keep heat, sparks and flames away.

1. Relieve fuel pressure between the engine and the manual shut-off valve.

2. Remove the fuel pressure regulator cover (A).
3. Disconnect the fuel pipe (B), the fuel hose (C) and the heater hoses (D). Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator switch 2P connector (E) and fuel pressure regulator shut-off solenoid valve 2P connector (F).
4. Remove the bolts and the fuel pressure regulator P1.
5. Apply silicone oil or polyaklyleneglycol (PAG) oil to a new O-ring (G) and the fuel pressure regulator P1.
6. Install the fuel pressure regulator P1 in the reverse order of removal. Be careful not to deform any of the lines, and assemble them securely when you assemble the heater hoses.
7. Do the leak inspection procedures.
