Power Windows Open by Themselves When Parked

SERVICE TIP:
While we're on the subject of power windows, have you gotten complaints from owners saying they closed the windows when they parked the vehicle but found all the windows open or partially open when they returned? Ruling out poltergeists or gremlins, the reason could just be they did it themselves with the keyless remote. Borrowing from page 100 of the O/M, here's how you open the windows with the keyless remote:

1. Press the UNLOCK button once to unlock the driver's door.

2. Press the UNLOCK button again, and hold it down. The passenger's doors unlock and all four windows start to open. To stop the windows, release the button.

3. To open the windows further, press the UNLOCK button again.

You can't close the windows with the keyless remote. If your customer doesn't think that he or she opened the windows by mistake, then ask him or her to carry the valet key for a while. If the problem happens again with the valet key, refer to section 22 of the 200304 Accord S/M, and follow the troubleshooting procedures.
