Throttle Body Removal/Installation




1. Except SULEV and LX-P models:
Disconnect the IAT sensor connector (A).
2. Remove the intake air duct (B).
3. Disconnect the IAC valve connector (C), and the TP sensor connector (D).
4. Disconnect and plug the water bypass hoses (E).
5. Disconnect the vacuum hose (F).
6. Remove the throttle cable (G) and actuator cable (with cruise control) (H).
7. Remove the harness clip (I) and throttle body (J).
8. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal with a new gasket (K).

NOTE:
- Do not adjust the throttle stop screw (L).
- Do the ECM/PCM idle learn procedure after the throttle body has been replaced. Programming and Relearning
- Refill the radiator with engine coolant.
- After reassembly, adjust the cruise control cable, and the throttle cable.
- The Throttle Position (TP) sensor is not removable.
