Glove Box Removal/Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations, and the precautions and procedures in the SRS section before performing repairs or service.

NOTE: Take care not to scratch the dashboard and related parts.




1. Detach the hook (A) of the glove box damper (B), and remove the screws.




2. While holding the glove box (A), release the glove box stop portion (B) on each side from the dashboard by pushing it inside, then remove the glove box.




3. From outside of the passenger's door, gently pull out on the front of the dashboard side cover (A) to release the hooks (B), to remove the cover.




4. Remove the screw, then remove the glove box damper (A).
5. Install the glove box in the reverse order of removal.
