Backup Lamp Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect the connectors from the switch.
2. Check for continuity between the No. 1 and No. 2 terminals.
- There should be continuity when the shift lever is in reverse.
- There should be no continuity when the shift lever is in any position except reverse.
3. If necessary, replace the switch.
