Valve Guide: Service and Repair

1. Heat cylinder head to 300°F (150°C) before removing or installing valve guides.
2. Drive valve guide out bottom of cylinder head using a valve guide driver tool and suitable hammer.
3. Reheat cylinder head if necessary.
4. Using suitable valve guide installation tool, drive valve guide into place until tool bottoms.
