The fuel cut-off relay is an electronic relay located behind the fuse panel. It provides the fuel pump with power whenever it receives ignition pulses from the primary ignition circuit.
Fuel Cut-Off Relay:
Because it relies on the ignition pulse rather than a steady voltage, the fuel pump will not run unless the engine is running or being started.
