Inspection and Installation

1. Inspect all of the gear teeth on all synchro hubs and sleeves for rounded off corners, which indicates wear.
2. Install each hub in its matching sleeve and check for freedom of movement.

NOTE: If replacement is required, replace the synchro sleeve and hub as a unit.

NOTE: Each synchro sleeve has three sets of longer teeth (120 degrees apart) that must be matched with the three sets of deeper grooves in the hub when assembled.
