The slow air jet control system employs an air cleaner mounted air leak solenoid. The solenoid is an electric vacuum switching valve. While the vehicle is being started or being run under heavy load the air leak solenoid is energized by the PGM unit. This closes off an extra air passage in the carburetor increasing fuel flow.
